Good morning everyone and happy Saturday. I was lucky enough to work at the Alice Feeney event at Rossiter Books last night.
Alice is one of my favourite thriller writers so I was incredibly excited to meet her. They say don’t meet your heroes but I’m so glad I did as she was so sweet and incredibly funny telling us lots of stories about her publishing journey so far. Her favourite book is Daisy Darker, same as me, which I loved finding out. I’d actually chosen Daisy Darker as our book club read this month and it was lovely to see so many of our bookclub there too.

As you can see the Indie Edition of Beautiful Ugly is really beautiful. I love the foiling and the beautiful spredges. I was lucky enough to get a proof of it and I absolutely loved it. You can read my review via the link below but it’s highly recommended by me! Huge thanks to the our lovely events organiser Carol and Kate from Pan Macmillan for organising and the lovely Alice Feeney for coming!
Who’s the last author you’ve met?

Looks like a brilliant event. I’m reading Beautiful Ugly at the moment.
